Electric MassKara technical works start
Technical works for the three-night Electric MassKara at the Tourism Strip at Lacson St. on Oct. 20 to 22 have started.
Two concert stages will be set up at 4th St. and 22nd St.
LED walls and LED arcs will also be set up at the designated areas across the Tourism Strip – the 20-block stretch of Lacson St. from 2nd St. to 22nd St. (North Drive).
SkyCable is setting up droplines for live feed, while Ceneco is increasing their power load in the area.
The corporate sponsors are also setting up their activation booths.
The Electric MassKara Team is already on-site at the Tourism Strip starting today [Oct. 19] and at the MassKara Office daily to handle inquiries.
The Electric MassKara, which started in 2007, is being held in the Tourism Strip – one of the three official festival sites.
This year’s Electric MassKara will feature the very first Electric Fitness Dance Showcase, with at least 20 Zumba groups from Bacolod and neighboring cities and towns, for two nights [Oct. 20-21].
The Performing Floats of 10 barangays will have two nights of competition on Oct. 20-21, and a grand parade on Oct. 22.
Street parties start at 9 p.m. every night.
At 11 p.m. for two nights [Oct. 20-21], the “Sadya ang MassKara with Mayor Bing: National Fireworks Competition” will have its second and third nights of fireworks contest at the stage at DBP (Development Bank of the Philippines).
The Electric MassKara is one of the highlights of the 38th MassKara Festival.*
