Round-trip tickets to Japan and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia await the new MassKara Queen who will be chosen in a pageant and crowned on October 19, 7 p.m., at the SMX Convention Center Bacolod.

The candidates are Claire Therese Porras, Heryn Wilcel Gatilao, Shane Pia, Julia Bennett Divinagracia, Edelyn Roncales, Jacqueline Almogen, Angelica Amayna, Claudette del Castillo, Chrisselle Rose Lambating, and Ella Mercado.

They will model gowns and swimwear by Bacolod Designer Edwin Benitez and their festival costumes will be done by the champion choreographers of Bacolod namely Emiljune Bantolo, Joedem Casabuena, Ronelo Mabilog, Segundo Jesus Cabalcar, Jr. and William Bancaya.

The winners will also receive P50,000, P30,000, and P15,000 for the MassKara Festival Queen, first runner-up, and second runner-up, respectively.

There will be corporate awards from the sponsors.

This year’s pageant is produced by Silver MassKara Festival Organization, Inc. and organized by OMS.
