Electric MassKara set Oct. 26 to 28

Four concert and party stations. Electric float parade. Tron dancers. Mardigras-themed Zumba. Fireworks.

These are among the attractions for this year’s Electric MassKara, Bacolod’s biggest street party that is set October 26 to 28 at the Lacson Tourism Strip.

“We’re not disclosing all the details but we promise you another MassKara experience,” Festival Director Eli F.J. Tajanlangit said.

“We got an entirely new creative team to help us run this,” he added.

“Among the new features are Manila and Boracay-based Tron dancers who will be along Lacson Street every night to entertain guests and will perform at certain spots,” Electric MassKara creative director Rene Jun Ogapong said.

The Electric MassKara, which started in 2007, is one of the highlights of the 39th MassKara Festival.
